This year’s goal

I may be overly ambitious or perhaps a little sadistic but to an avid reader, setting outrageous annual goals when it comes to books is NBD. This year, as per the goodreads.com 2012 reading challenge, I have taken it upon myself to read 250 books, which is no small feat I might add. After graduating from college last December, I decided to take time off to focus on my writing, which is, as you might have guessed, in the young adult genre. In order to fully immerse myself into the teen fiction world, I try to read as many YA books as humanly possible and hence, have decided to read, critique and possibly mock whichever book I happen to stumble upon. I’m 40 or so books into my goal and 7% behind according to goodreads calculations, so I’ve got some catching up to do but hopefully, blogging about what I read will help me keep up with the challenge and meet my goals.

Upcoming blogs:

1.Beautiful Creatures- Kami Garcia

2. Angelfire- Courtney Moulton

3.Alpha- Rachel Vincent

4. The Dark Divine- Bree Despain

5. Before I Fall- Lauren Oliver

Any recommendations or requests would be appreciated 🙂
